One Vision
Benalec Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1978 as a contracting company specialized in undertaking civil engineering projects.

Benalec Group was born in 1994, when its sister company, Oriental Grandeur Sdn Bhd came under its umbrella to realize a joint objective to become an integrated, one-stop centre for civil and marine engineering services.

With the combined knowledge and experience in marine and civil engineering works, coupled with its own wide range of marine equipment and marine vessels now at its disposal, Benalec Group has extended its capacity and capability to deliver top-grade quality work to its customers.

Benalec has in a short span of time emerged as one of Malaysia's own top-notch homegrown marine engineering and transportation specialists. It is a class "A" Civil and Marine Engineering Contractor registered with Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor (PKK) and a Grade G7 with the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB).

Managed by professionally qualified and skilled engineers with more than 20 years of hands-on experience and expertise, Benalec has proven itself capable of undertaking high-end projects in the local as well as regional arena.

In the case of the restoration of the damaged bund at Sungai Belukang, Bagan Datoh, Perak, which was described as one of the most difficult coastal protection work in Malaysia, the project was completed ahead of schedule under extreme circumstances. Benalec received high commendation and wide press publicity for the accomplishment.

"Benalec Group has emerged as one of Malaysian's own top-notch, homegrown marine engineering and transportation specialists."
Our proposed shipyard at Lumut Industrial Park in Perak, which is complete with modern and efficient facilities represents yet another testimony to the Group's capability in meeting demands in the commercial production of vessels of different types, sizes and tonnages.

The shipyard will have two slipways for doing dry dock repairs, a huge repair workshop coupled with mechanical and sandblasting facilities for hull work. Upon completion, it would be able to accommodate 2 big vessels and about 20 tugboats simultaneously.
